EA Sports FC 26 Launches  On September 26, 2025, With Bellingham and Musiala on the Cover

Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that EA Sports FC 26 will hit shelves on September 26, 2025. The upcoming installment in the popular football franchise will feature Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala as its cover athletes — a nod to the game's focus on the next generation of football stars.

The title will be available across a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and both the Nintendo Switch and upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.

According to EA, this year's entry is a major step forward, shaped heavily by player feedback. “We’re not just developers — we’re fans of the game too. That shared love for football influences everything we do,” EA stated in a press release.

What’s New in FC 26?

  • Revamped gameplay delivers a more authentic on-pitch feel, especially in Career Mode, which now includes Authentic Gameplay — aiming to provide the most realistic football simulation yet.

  • Football Ultimate Team (FUT) and Clubs modes introduce a new Competitive Gameplay setting, focusing on tighter control, improved responsiveness, and smarter AI.

  • Career Mode also gets a major upgrade, introducing evolving Challenges that bring dynamic storylines and progression systems.

  • Players will also see new Tournaments and Live Events in FUT, plus all-new Archetype customization options in Clubs, allowing for more personalized playstyles.

EA says this year’s release is part of their ongoing mission to build the game with and for the community, encouraging players to be active participants in shaping the future of the FC franchise.
