007: First Light Gets Official Release Date, Cast Reveal, and Deluxe Pre-Order Bonus

During a recent State of Play showcase, IO Interactive gave fans their best look yet at 007: First Light, the upcoming James Bond title. Alongside a detailed gameplay breakdown, the studio confirmed a launch date — the game is set to release on March 27, 2026.

The spy thriller will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Pre-orders come with a solid bonus: a free upgrade to the Deluxe Edition, which unlocks 24-hour early access and a handful of in-game extras. These include four unique outfits — Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, and Gentleman Operator — plus an exclusive weapon skin and the sleek “Gleaming Pack,” featuring stylish items like the Gleaming Lighter, Earphones, Phone, and Pen.

One of the big surprises from the showcase was the reveal of the game’s voice and motion capture cast. Patrick Gibson, known for roles in Dexter: Original Sin and The OA, is officially playing James Bond. He’ll be joined by a talented supporting cast, including Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, and Kiera Lester as Miss Moneypenny. The game will also introduce new characters to the 007 universe — John Greenway, Bond’s mentor, played by Lennie James (Fear the Walking Dead, Save Me), and Miss Roth, portrayed by Noemie Nakai.

With the March 2026 release date now locked in, and a cast of high-caliber talent attached, 007: First Light is shaping up to be a fresh and exciting chapter in the James Bond legacy.
